ame ni utaeba -pichi pichi chapu chapu ran ran blues-
it's raining pretty hard today.
the title is from miyavi's song. I love it ^^ the lyrics are a bit sad, but it's good anyway
"if I sing into the rain, if I sing into the sky
I wonder if the clouds in my heart will clear up some day.
rainy days are blues, windy days are blues
if I keep on singing, I wonder if I'll be able to see the rainbow after the rain."
At the beginning, it was just a catchy song, but after I realized I could understand it, I thought "oh, it's so sad~" I tried to translate it, but since he uses a bunch of weather words it was reaaaally hard. The English is a little weird...when I'm translating, I get this problem a lot. But I keep going like always ^^
that's miyavi on the left!in the band he was in before he went solo, he was "miyabi," but now he goes by miyavi.
recently, he's been making a ton of acoustic songs, but I don't like them much. In older albums, the songs were mostly rock, and though there weren't many acoustic songs, they were always awesome. now, it's all acoustic, and it's gotten kinda boring o(;_;)o
This weekend, my parents came up to SMU, and it was a lot of fun~ When I was waiting for them on Friday, I got to meet my friend Damian's boyfriend for the first time. He's such a nice guy~ I was a little surprised, cause he was taller than Damian. At about 10:00 they got here, and we went to eat at IHOP. It was good d(^-^) On Saturday I showed them around SMU, we went shopping at Target, and just had fun. Today, I did homework at the dorm, practiced kanji, stared at the wall...(^◇^) this weekend was busy~
